Honorary members can access a large part of ALSUM’s services and can give their opinion in the different instances of the Association.
Membership has no cost.
Underwriters or executives of Insurers and Reinsurers offering marine or transportation insurance in Latin America, of multinational or local origin, can be ALSUM’s Principal Members.
The principal members can access all the ALSUM services; they form the bases of the Technical Committees (Cargo, Hull and Liabilities) and can belong to the Board of Directors.
From the principal members comes the criteria and strategic guidelines that govern the ALSUM Foundation
They can be associated: brokers, risk managers, adjusters, inspectors, consultants, recovery companies, P & I, lawyers, logistics operators, port companies, training centers, foundations and guilds of shippers and carriers among other companies that have a relationship with the marine insurance.
Associates can access all ALSUM services and be nominated by the main members to belong to any of the Technical Committees.
