“Hacemos de su conocimiento que derivado de una iniciativa por parte de Amanac, se busca estandarizar el formato de Carta de Encomienda con el afán de apoyar el crecimiento comercial de nuestro país por medio de procesos más eficientes y unificados”, informó Maersk en un comunicado dirigido a sus clientes.
De esta forma, desde este 15 de marzo los usuarios deben hacer uso de la carta de encomienda remitida por la firma, la cual deberá seguir incluyendo la misma información que se solicita actualmente, pero en un formato distinto; además de que seguirá siendo necesario usar membrete de la empresa e incluir firma de su representante legal.
“El cambio es efectivo a partir del día 15 de marzo, sin embargo, en apoyo a esta transición será el 1 de abril la fecha a partir de la cual comenzaremos a rechazar las cartas que no cumplan el nuevo formato establecido. Cabe mencionar que para las cartas encomiendas anuales no estaremos realizando ningún cambio en su formato”, enfatizó la empresa.
De acuerdo con Amanac, dejar de exigir a los consignatarios de las mercancías el endoso del conocimiento de embarque al agente aduanal deriva en la agilización de la liberación de la carga en puertos, toda vez que este requisito se sustituye con la propuesta de carta de encomienda validada por diferentes organizaciones, como parte del proceso de revalidación y liberación de las mercancías en los puertos en los que operan.
Lo anterior, de acuerdo con el organismo, se suscita en el marco de los trabajos de coordinación que emanan del Comité Marítimo, teniendo como base el convenio de colaboración firmado el pasado 9 de septiembre de 2020 entre Amanac y la Confederación de Asociaciones de Agentes Aduanales de la República Mexicana (Caaarem), cuya finalidad es conjuntar esfuerzos para coadyuvar y encontrar mecanismos que lleven a la mejora continua y agilización de trámites para el retiro de mercancías de los puertos del país.
Dicho convenio busca además establecer prácticas simples que se vean reflejadas en ahorros de tiempo y dinero, impulsando la competitividad del comercio exterior, respetando las políticas de cada una de las navieras asociadas a la Amanac.

According to Amanac, to cease to require the consignees of the goods the endorsement of the bill of lading to the customs agent results in the acceleration of the release of the cargo in ports, since this requirement is replaced by the proposed letter of entrustment validated by different organizations, as part of the process of revalidation and release of goods in the ports in which they operate.
This, in agreement with the agency, arises in the framework of the coordination work emanating from the Maritime Committee, based on the collaboration agreement signed on 9 September 2020 between Amanac and the Confederation of Associations of Customs Agents of the Mexican Republic (Caaarem), whose purpose is to combine efforts to assist and find mechanisms that lead to the continuous improvement and streamlining of procedures for the removal of goods from the country’s ports.
This agreement also seeks to establish simple practices that are reflected in savings of time and money, promoting the competitiveness of foreign trade, respecting the policies of each of the shipping companies associated with the Amanac.
